STUDIO DOKOLA is a Melbourne based, all Australian business producing unique objects in glass. Emerging with a focus on tableware, Studio Dokola has created limited edition ranges since 2019.

A focus on collaboration has seen Studio Dokola extend their design and production skill to work on glass based projects with numerous other Australian brands.

gốm maker is the ceramic practice of Thannie Phan, a Vietnamese artist and potter born in Kien Giang and who grew up in Sai Gon & Singapore, lived in Auckland, Sydney and now based in Naarm.

Thannie's practice is a physical interpretation of the stories she writes about where she is, where she was, and the people surrounding her. The works are hand-built by pinching coils, glazed by brushing or stamping. The vessels are light, the edges are raw and the palette is restrained.

Hana from Dasa Ceramics is an emerging artist based in Melbourne. Embracing hand-built sculptural vessels, Hana’s ongoing development in exploring new forms that take visual inspiration from sculpture, natural forms, ancient pottery and her travels.

Pieces are often connected to a personal narrative and are made in a slow and considered way with one piece evolving into another allowing for the practice to be refined and to create pieces that merge sculpting and hand building techniques whilst subtly playing with shape, form and texture.

ALTERFACT is an experimental design studio created by Lucile Sciallano and Ben Landau in 2014. Since graduating from Design Academy Eindhoven in 2013, Lucile and Ben have worked in tandem on various projects in different mediums. Their collaboration has culminated in the creation of Alterfact Studio, a platform through which to conduct critical research with materials and data translated through the manufacture of ‘stuff’.

Alterfact’s practice is currently focused on the use of 3D printing in clay as a small batch manufacturing process. They push the boundaries of this traditionally plastic-based medium, and play with its connotations of utilitarianism and gimmickry, as it moves into a feasible reality.
