The term "Mezza Forma," meaning "half form" or "half mold," highlights the bridging of two material worlds while also referencing a naive approach to mold-making in contrast to the refined traditions of industrial craft.

The Pipeflute Wall Hooks are a collection of sculptural wall hooks made from reclaimed stainless steel offcuts. Referencing the rhythm of pan flutes, each piece serves as a quiet architectural intervention—anchoring daily rituals through a refined gesture of permanence, material memory, and contemporary craft.

Pipeflute Wall Hooks reflect on the humble hook as an enduring architectural element—anchored in place, yet supporting movement, memory, and routine. In response to Design the world you want, the work proposes a future where even the most overlooked domestic objects are designed with care, circularity, and sculptural intent.

Please choose your pieces carefully as all purchases at pépite are final.

There’s a fine line between love and hate... this one lets you hang your clothes on it. A sculptural yet functional piece, the clothes rack features two figures at opposite ends, their outstretched ‘arms’ entangled in a silent dialogue. Are they reaching out in love or recoiling in hate? The ambiguity invites personal interpretation, reflecting the shared, yet deeply individual nature of emotion.

“Love or Hate?” is an object of reflection, sparking contemplation on the moments we share with those closest to us - those fleeting, intense exchanges that balance tenderness and tension. Much like the objects we leave draped on it, this piece becomes a canvas for stories: the jacket from a first date, or the scarf from an argument on a winter evening. Functional yet evocative, it’s an invitation to engage with the complexities of connection.

PAULINE MEADE has been using clay as her chosen medium since completing a Diploma of Ceramics in 2007, continuing to extend her practice at School of Clay and Art ( SOCA).

Pauline has been exhibiting her work in Melbourne and was a finalist in Clune's Ceramic Award where she won a judges' recognition and the People's Choice award.
Pauline predominantly hand builds, as well as using the wheel to enhance her pieces, emphasising texture and layering of glazes. It's the dry sclerophyll bush, wild wattle and ironbark forests that continue to inform her work, the landscape from her childhood.
