KENNY YONG-SOO SON, from STUDIOKYSS is an object maker based in Sydney, Australia.

With background in metal craft and object design, the fundamental focus behind Son’s practice is to create work that resemblance a sense of longevity and hand-craftsmanship. The design aesthetics of Son’s work relate to the idea of reduction and simplicity with emphasis on modern and traditional craftsmanship in the physical work process.

Son is interested in producing work that has the ability to interact with the user and its surroundings, allowing a trigger of emotions of the user when in harmony with the object. Son firmly believes, for contemporary crafts and craftsmanship to excel, is reliant on current and future makers to translate their outputs in a habitual and ingenuous manner towards the public. Work that is perhaps ordinary, rather a work that is conceived to be extraordinary.

From her small studio in the Dandenong Ranges, Melinda Wallis strives for beauty in the form and surface. Simple designs can prove challenging, however this keeps her engaged as she continues to search for that one perfect piece. that enigma. She uses textured clays, often blending two or three together. The wheel gives Melinda her individual parts, and her hands assemble the finished product. The process is by far the main event for Melinda.

Due to the nature of handmade objects, photos are only indicative as each piece varies slightly in size, shape and colour.

Patricia Sardy (Pamine) is a French artist born in Dijon and currently based in the small village of Montélier in the Drôme department.
Having spent decades exploring diverse artistic mediums such as painting, drawing and bronze sculpture among others, Patricia is now predominantly working with clay.
With a background in traditional ceramics, she has spent years experimenting with various techniques—ranging from wheel-throwing to sculptural handbuilding—blending the classic with the contemporary. Over time, her work has evolved into whimsical yet intricate pieces, often inspired by nature.
We commissioned Patricia to create a series of ceramic vegetables intended as cutlery rests but also sculptures in their own right, infusing them with both playful and lifelike qualities. Patricia's work invites viewers to reconsider the everyday, transforming simple forms into objects of art that celebrate the beauty of the organic and the handmade.
