Meet Jeanne, a handcrafted doll from SilaiWali’s premium collection.
SilaiWali is a social enterprise in New Delhi that upcycles waste fabric generated from apparel scraps to create dolls and ornaments handcrafted by Afghan refugee women in India, providing work pathways and sustainable income to communities of marginalised artisans.
The Jeanne doll is inspired by the timeless charm of Provence. Dressed in a traditional Provençal outfit featuring a flowing printed skirt, striped apron, floral shawl, and classic white bonnet, she captures the warmth and nostalgia of the South of France. The Jeanne doll brings warmth and character to any space and makes a meaningful keepsake for collectors, families, or anyone who appreciates handcrafted, storytelling toys.
The Jeanne doll comes with its own bedding including a mattress, bedsheet and a pillow, all packed in a paper box.

All pieces at pépite Gallery are handmade by local creatives and most are on consignment which means we pay the artist once their items have been purchased.
