Meet Imani, a handcrafted doll from SilaiWali’s premium collection.

SilaiWali is a social enterprise in New Delhi that upcycles waste fabric generated from apparel scraps to create dolls and ornaments handcrafted by Afghan refugee women in India, providing work pathways and sustainable income to communities of marginalised artisans. 

The Imani doll represents a radiant African mother, lovingly carrying her baby wrapped across her shoulder in a traditional cloth. Imani’s little one rest safely against her, creating a heartwarming portrait of care and connection.
