Originally from South America, Venezuela, Fernando Salas of FDO Studio is a versatile visual artist now based in Perth.

Fernando's creative journey began with explorations in painting and sculpture and has since evolved into the world of ceramics where he has found a unique voice - each one of his pieces is a testament to this evolution.
Fernando now specialises in hand-built ceramics, creating a diverse range of works including wall pieces, sculptures and vases. He works with various types of clay and crafts his own glazes from scratch in his studio. This meticulous, hands-on process enables him to produce one-of-a-kind pieces and maintain complete control over the textures, colours, and finishes of his creations.

Fernando's work reflects a harmonious blend of old and new, tradition and innovation, inviting viewers to experience the intersection of painting and pottery in a captivating and tactile way.

For this reason, we're unable to offer returns, exchanges or refunds. You can select our free Click & Collect option at checkout if you'd like to collect your order from our Collingwood showroom. Pick-up windows are between Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 5pm - please contact us to confirm a collection day and time.

Standard Shipping within Australia is sent by Australia Post or Sendle and includes insurance so your parcel is safe! Your order will be fulfilled and dispatched within 2 to 5 business days.
