About The Artist
RACHEL FREDERIKS creates a small line of ceramics from her home studio in Melbourne. She has been exploring simple and organic forms to reflect the natural tones and textures of the different clay and glazes that she uses.
Rachel’s work celebrates the imperfections and attractive features that glazes can offer, specialising in her own wood ash glazes. Her aim is to create functional pieces and some plant homes that remind you of where the materials used have originated from.
