About The Artist
OH HEY GRACE is a North Melbourne based studio by ceramicist Grace Brown whose work is part functional ware and part architectural shapes and miniature utopian cityscapes. Grace creates a mix of functional and sculptural pieces using a combination of wheel thrown and hand building techniques.
Grace begun making as a creative outlet and was hooked from her first experience, she eventually quit her day job and started an internship at Slow Clay Centre in Collingwood where she now teaches wheel throwing. With a keen eye for detail, Grace is very meticulous in her work and aims to achieve the perfect balance between composition and form.
