About The Artist

JENNIFER OH was born in the Philippines, grew up in Australia, lived in London and Rome and has recently moved back to Sydney.

Her ceramic work is informed by the multiplicity of her travels. They are in many ways investigations into form and function and how our everyday objects can transform into talismans for modern life. Her work is rooted in the traditional aspects of the craft in technique and construction; although she finds that it's the interaction between human and object that cultivates meaning and it's this personal reaction to objects that is the core interest of her work.
