About The Artist
ANA POPESCU is a Romanian born visual artist living and working in Vienna, Austria. Her work experiments with shade and colours through the use of acrylic painting and drawing on paper exploring the representation of the ephemerality of things. Her work is greatly inspired by architecture and experiments with the theme of space and its relation to light. Ana studied printmaking and drawing at the University of applied arts in Vienna, Austria and has gone on to exhibit work in New York, Tokyo, Shanghai, Ljubljana, Bergen, London and Vienna.
