Burning Instructions:
Always allow the wax to burn so the entire surface is melted and pools to the edges of the container. This will prevent tunnelling and help promote an even burn. Never burn more than 4 hours at a time.
Store your candle in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Burn away from draft, flammable objects, pets & children.
Keep your wicks trimmed to 5mm at all times; this limits mushrooming and sooting.
Stop burning your candle once there is about 1.5cm of wax left in the vessel. This will help prevent heat damage to the vessel and surface surrounding the candle.

LA PETITE FABRIQUE DE BRUNSWICK is a Melbourne based ceramic studio created by artist Lucile in 2014. Lucile was born in the south of France and now works from her garden shed in Brunswick.

Slip cast techniques are used to create functional and sculptural bowls, cups and teapots that begin with a prototype used to make a mould to cast the iterations of each shape. Using pigments to colour the porcelain, Lucile applies patterns by hand to make each piece unique.

JADE THORSEN is a Melbourne based ceramicist working from her North Fitzroy studio. Her practice focuses on wheel-thrown functional wares that sit somewhere between design, batch production and craft.

Jade’s background in Industrial Design formed her interest in ceramics and more broadly craft and ideas of slow making - a methodology she explores through her pieces that place just as much importance on the process as the final object.

SHARON ALPREN is a Melbourne based ceramic artist working out of her home studio in the Macedon Ranges. Sharon took up ceramics 15 years ago after relocating to Australia from her native UK where she had a background in Textiles.

Working with a mix of wheel-throwing and hand-building techniques, Sharon's work strikes a balance between creating both functional and sculptural pieces for the home, resulting in resilient everyday pieces without compromising on aesthetic. Sharon is particularly interested in glazes and texture and is constantly experimenting with creating her own glaze recipes.
