Exclusive new collection of tableware for pépite

Introducing a new collection by Melbourne ceramicist eb Ceramics created exclusively for pépite.

This new range was commissioned a while back and we’re blown away with the final result.

All the pieces in this collection were hand thrown by eb and later hand carved in a unique pattern inspired by French cobblestone roads and finished with one of three signature glaze recipes.

When dreaming up this new collection eb was particularly influenced by architecture where strong lines create space for shadows and light to fall, combined with a fascination for ancient techniques.

With this collection eb has found a way to deliberately incorporate the maker’s evidence through her use of hand carving techniques, purposefully adding a tactile surface to functional objects to encourage meaningful daily rituals and once again honouring the handmade process.
