Shallow Dinner Bowl

Dinner plate handmade by London born, Melbourne based potter Sharon Alpren. Sharon makes sculptural, yet practical pieces for the home. The characteristics of the clay, the glaze and the fire direct her hand-built and wheel-thrown pieces. Through firing her pieces in a gas kiln, usually in a reduction atmosphere, a variety of tones are created in the clay and textures in the glaze.
